Combo Unit

Our combo units have become a go-to solution for oilfield clients looking to be more efficient. But what is a combo unit, and when do you need one?

What is a Combo Unit?

A combo unit is a truck that combines the operations of a vac truck and a high-pressure wash/steam unit, so it can suction and transport fluids along with cleaning, thawing, and pressure-washing tasks — all in one trip.

At Attack Oilfield, our combo units are fully equipped with:

  • Powerful vacuum systems for fluid hauling, tank clean-outs, and spills

  • High-pressure wash & steam for cleaning frac tanks, thawing frozen lines, and more

  • On-board water and waste tanks

  • Safety-certified operators

💡 When Do You Need a Combo Unit?

If you're dealing with both cleaning and fluid handling on the same site — a combo unit is the way to go. Here are some typical situations:

1. Tank Cleanouts

Need to remove residual sludge, rinse out tanks, and haul the waste away? A combo unit does it all so you don’t need multiple trucks.

2. Frozen Lines in Winter

When pipelines freeze during a cold snap, combo units use steam to thaw them along with collecting any fluid buildup.

3. Turnaround Jobs

During shutdowns or maintenance windows, efficiency is crucial. A combo unit helps clean equipment and haul fluids in one go.

🕒 How Combo Units Save Time & Costs

Fewer Trucks = Lower Costs
Using one unit instead of two reduces transportation, fuel, and labor costs.

Less Downtime
Jobs get done faster with fewer moving parts so your crew can get back to work sooner.
